When George Bush came to Yankee Stadium to throw out the first pitch of a world series game. Yankee veteran Derek Jeter had some advice for him.
Firstly, Don't throw from the front of the mound.. they'll boo you.. this is Yankee Stadium.
Secondly, Don't bounce it.. They'll boo ya.
He did tonight what he did that night, held the high ground and put the ball over the plate. It wasn't a 105MPH fastball.. but it was over the plate and that's all he needed.
John Kerry Needed a big win.. and I don't think he got one. This debate didn't undo the damage that Dan Rather did or even cut into the RNC bounce. Now thanks to the email the DNC sent out the online poles are going to be skewed.. but I don't think the debate changed many minds either way. Heck even the two CNN people covering it differed.
